世界上最遥远的距离 The furthest distance in the world

这是曾经在网络界轰动及感动无数网民的诗，流传得最广的作者是泰戈尔（Ranbindranath Tagore）及张小娴，经过我在网络上一番搜寻，让我找到了这篇说明（http://www.rpi.edu/~jix/disclaimer.html）
作者muyv说这首诗的英文版是他从中文版翻译过来的，并不是泰戈尔的作品，
以下是muyv的声明：
It was translated from a Chinese poem that has been popular online for a while. Even before my translation in 2003, it was rumored to be written by Tagore, but when I was searching for an English Version, I couldn't find any. So I tried myself on 2003.08.25, and put it on my webpage (scroll down to find it) along with the Chinese version. I also explained on the same page that this is only my own translation. It was put there for personal English practice, and I didn't even finish it as one can see from the last "if not". Therefore, as pointed out by others online, it has quite several grammar mistakes too.

根据他所说，这首诗其实是台湾一个女学院生在她学院内的BBS写下的，看来这个是最可靠的说法。
至于张小娴的版本，我也看过，虽然写法很接近，不过显然不是同一篇诗。
然，这首诗迷人的地方，是它所表达的意境，作者是谁其实已经不是那么重要了。
